An action verb is a verb that expresses physical or mental action.
行為動(dòng)詞是描述身體或思想行為的動(dòng)詞。
The action verb tells us what the subject of our clause or sentence is doing-physically or mentally.
行為動(dòng)詞告訴我們分句或句子的主語正在做什么或正在想什么。
行為動(dòng)詞的例子：
To find an action verb:
1)找出句中某人或某物可以做的動(dòng)作。
2)這種動(dòng)作可以使身體上的也可以是思想上的。
行為動(dòng)詞的例子： skip smell love think
Examples of action verbs in a sentence:
句子中行為動(dòng)詞的例子：
Marie walked to school.
Marie走到學(xué)校。
Walked tells us what Marie was doing.
“Walked”告訴我們Marie做了什么。
Louis thought about the math problem.
Louis 思考數(shù)學(xué)題。
Thought tells us what Louis was doing (mentally).
“Thought”告訴我們Louis在想什么。
