高考英語詞匯重點(diǎn)詳解：again的用法

　　1. 不與那些已含有 again 意義的動(dòng)詞 連用：

　　請?jiān)僬f一遍。

　　正：Please repeat it. / Please say it again.

　　誤：Please repeat it again.

　　但若要強(qiáng)調(diào)，again 本身卻可以疊用：I have told you againand again not to play there. 我已再三叫你們不要在那兒玩。

　　有時(shí)也可見 again 與 repeat 之類的詞連用，那表示的是第三次而不是第二次：Repeat it again, please. 請把它再重復(fù)一遍 。

　　2. again 雖然可以表示“再”、“又”，但并不是漢語中所有的“再”、“又”都能用 again 來翻譯的：

　　我們班又有兩個(gè)學(xué)生入了團(tuán)。

　　正：Two more students in our class joined the League.

　　正：Another two students in our class joined the League.

　　誤：Two students in our class joined the League again.
