　　1. 用于請人吃東西，意為：你要點嗎？ 你要來點嗎？

　　A：Would you like a cigarette？ 抽支煙嗎？

　　B：No， thank you. 不抽，謝謝。

　　A：Would you like a cup of tea？ 要來杯茶嗎？

　　B：Yes， please. Thanks. 好，來一杯吧，謝謝。

　　2. 用于提出邀請時征求對方意見，意為：你想嗎？ 你愿意做嗎？ 如：

　　A：Would you like to go to the movies tonight？ 你今晚想去看電影嗎？

　　B：Id like to. What time？ 我很愿意，幾點鐘？

　　A：Would you like to come with us？ 你愿意同我們一起去嗎？

　　B：Im afraid I cant. I have some letters to write. 恐怕不行，我有幾封信要寫。

　　3. 用于詢問對方是否需要某物或是否需要某人做某事等，意為：你需要嗎？ 如：

　　B：Yes， of course. 當要想要。
