  1.Opening (開(kāi)場(chǎng)白)

  (1)Good morning, everyone.

  大家早上好!

  (2)Good afternoon,let’s start the meeting.

  下午好,現(xiàn)在開(kāi)會(huì)!

  (3) If we’re all here, let's get started.

  如果我們都在這里,那我們開(kāi)始吧!

  [語(yǔ)法充電站]

  (1)let’s (us) 動(dòng)詞原形

  (2)第三句:started不是過(guò)去式形式,而是過(guò)去分詞。

  用法即是get sth done, 又如上一節(jié)課的have sth done,

  意思就是 “使......被做”。

  說(shuō)完整了就是Let’s get (it) started. “使事情被開(kāi)始”。

  但是口語(yǔ)中直接翻譯成“我們開(kāi)始吧”。

  2. Welcoming and Introducing(歡迎和介紹)

  (1)Please join me in welcoming Jane Smith.

  和我一起歡迎簡(jiǎn)·斯密斯。

  (2)We’re pleased to welcome Jane Smith from our trading desk in Tokyo.

  很高心歡迎來(lái)自我們東京交易處的簡(jiǎn)·斯密斯。

  (3)I’d like to extend a warm welcome to Jane Smith.

  我要向簡(jiǎn)·斯密斯表達(dá)熱烈歡迎。

  (4)It's a pleasure to welcome our new vice president of human resources,

  Mrs. Jane Smith.

  (1)We’re here today to evaluate financing options for our new plant.

  (2) Our main goal today is to make a decision on

  whether or not to build a new oil processing plant.

  (1)I’m afraid Jane can’t be with us today.

  She is in our Boston branch.

  我怕簡(jiǎn)今天不能和我們?cè)谝黄鹆恕?/p>

  because he missed his flight.
