一、Teaching aims and demands:
*Can understand some simple actions and do it *Know the meaning of “catch、run .”
*Can read and write letter Bb and can read the new words about Bb
*Can read the sentences of part 7 on page 11

三、Teaching method and steps:
Step1:Bring some toys to the classroom at the beginning of the class, throw them to the classes one by one and say:
Catch! If they can understand what‟s meaning, take out the pictures show to them and teach the new words:
ball, door, window, blackboard, teacher, flowers
Step2: Go to the playground play games and learn:
Please be ready. Run! Group them into boys and girls. Have a rally race.
Then queue in a line, do some actions (Who is the fastest): Run to the door!
Run to the table! Run to the window! Run to the teacher! Run to the flowers!
Then chant it and do it: Catch a ball, run to the door. Catch a pen, run to Ben.
Catch a pencil, run to the middle. Catch, run, catch, run, catch and run.
Step3:Go back to the classroom, have a rest, then color it on page 12.

It‟s a piece of paper ,yes ,now cut it into a shape of big moon ,and then ask :What‟s this now ?

Step5: Show them pictures and teach: cab, cap, and cat. Can add some words about Cc.
Step6: Teach them how to write letter Cc.
Step7: Exercises: Speak out and do actions: Run to the door!
Run to the table! Run to the window! Run to the teacher! Run to the flowers! Stand! Sit!

繼續(xù)有關(guān)寵物教學(xué)的話題，在認(rèn)識了各種寵物、并學(xué)習(xí)了有關(guān)的單詞之后，老師們還可以用什么樣的方式來幫助學(xué)生將這些單詞活學(xué)活用呢?教材中的這首歌曲提供了多種不同課堂活動的可能性。
準(zhǔn)備好寵物單詞卡片：hamster, cat, dog, rabbit,fish, parrot. 老師快速閃卡，讓學(xué)生根據(jù)看到的寵物說出單詞。然后，老師將卡片收起、將其中一張放在身后，問學(xué)生：“Can you guess my pet? Is ita cat? Is it a dog?” 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用 “Is it ... ?”這樣的句子提問。如果沒猜對，老師則說：“No, it isn’t. Guess again!”如果學(xué)生的猜測是正確的，老師要立刻拿出卡片并說：“Yes， you’re right! It is a cat!”
在進行過幾輪猜測之后，老師開始播放歌曲，第一遍讓學(xué)生盡情欣賞旋律(不必跟唱)，老師可以根據(jù)歌詞的進行，舉起相關(guān)的卡片，幫助學(xué)生理解句意。再次播放歌曲時，老師帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生開始輕聲哼唱，讓學(xué)生關(guān)注屏幕上的歌詞(點擊Script，展示所有的歌詞)。一邊唱，一邊搖擺身體，唱到有關(guān)動物的單詞時，模仿這個動物。
第三遍，老師改為播放卡拉OK，學(xué)生們繼續(xù)邊做動作邊唱歌，此時、問題來了：記不住歌詞怎么辦?老師一定要告訴學(xué)生，“Can you guess my pet?”這一句不變，其他的部分“Is it ...?”中所包含的動物可以隨心所欲唱自己喜歡的。這樣一來，學(xué)生們就可以放開膽子、自由自在地改編歌曲、大聲地唱出歌曲。
在多次唱歌之后，學(xué)生們對句型“Can you guess my pet?”以及”Is it ....?”都更加熟悉了。這時，老師可以邀請一個學(xué)生到教室前方，將自己喜歡的一張卡片藏在身后(學(xué)生可以選擇本課以外的其它動物單詞，老師應(yīng)該多準(zhǔn)備一些)，然后唱著問其他同學(xué)：“Can you guess my pet? Can you guess my pet?” 而其他同學(xué)需要唱著來進行猜測“Is it a cat? Is it a snake? ...” 老師負(fù)責(zé)選擇學(xué)生來進行單獨的“唱答”，直到正確答案出現(xiàn)為止。
