　　The advantages by reading story books rather than by watching Televisionand playing computer games are rather obvious. To begin with, children willread what is most suitable to their interests for their own sake and thus theycould easily absorb knowledge from these books. Take the story book of the pilgrimageto the west(西游記) for example, it ignites my passion tocontinue probing into many kinds of interesting topics related to demography,local products and living habits. These kinds of instructive books are highlyinformative and therefore students can be greatly enriched. In addition, by readingstory books, students can understand the new concepts in an acceptable way.

　　However,if they watch TV or play computer games, they are more likely to meetconflicting topics and contact the violence and pornography which are the culpritsof juvenile delinquency. This is the main reason why their parents exert theirpreference on reading books.
