2016年公共英語(yǔ)三級(jí)說(shuō)明文寫作指導(dǎo)
說(shuō)明文是對(duì)客觀事物的特征、功能和作用等進(jìn)行說(shuō)明的文體。要求根據(jù)客觀事實(shí)，如實(shí)地逐一予以說(shuō)明。寫作時(shí)，可以按時(shí)間、空間、邏輯或認(rèn)識(shí)等順序展開。下面就是一個(gè)依照邏輯上的因果關(guān)系而展開的說(shuō)明文。

On Youth
In the case of college students，youth is just the same as a race in which knowledge competes against time for their sake. During the course of this competition，most students try and invest as much time as possible in the ocean of knowledge，while some yield up the pursuit of knowledge to the enjoyment of pleasures that time offers. It has al-ready been proved that economy of knowledge will feature the century to come，which is a direct challenge to the college students，masters of the new century. If a student realizes the challenge as well as the fact that anyone has youth but once，he or she will never let youth down and help knowledge always hold the lead in the race against time.
【譯文】青春
就大學(xué)生們而言，青春恰似知識(shí)為了大學(xué)生們的利益而與時(shí)間展開的一場(chǎng)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)。在這場(chǎng)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)中，大多數(shù)學(xué)生千方百計(jì)將盡可能多的時(shí)間投入知識(shí)的海洋，但有一些學(xué)生把對(duì)知識(shí)的追求讓位于及時(shí)行樂(lè)�，F(xiàn)已證實(shí)，知識(shí)經(jīng)濟(jì)將是下一個(gè)世紀(jì)的主要特征;這是對(duì)大學(xué)生——新世紀(jì)主人——的直接挑戰(zhàn)。如果一個(gè)學(xué)生能意識(shí)到這一挑戰(zhàn)以及一個(gè)人的青春只有一次的事實(shí)，那他(她)就不會(huì)辜負(fù)青春，使知識(shí)在與時(shí)間的賽跑中永遠(yuǎn)處于領(lǐng)先地位。
