Most kids like animals. Girls like cats, and boys like dogs. However, my favorite animal is horse.

眾所周知，南外是一所以外語(yǔ)見(jiàn)長(zhǎng)的學(xué)校，而其中擅長(zhǎng)英語(yǔ)的“精英”們，更是數(shù)不勝數(shù)。進(jìn)入這所學(xué)校后，我才明白自己的英語(yǔ)多么欠缺，于是，我就開(kāi)始了“漫漫”的學(xué)英語(yǔ)之路。殊不知這是一條苦樂(lè)交織的路。
苦
“天啊，為什么每天的英語(yǔ)單詞都這么多��！”幾乎天天都能聽(tīng)到我和同學(xué)們的感嘆。回想小學(xué)時(shí)，一學(xué)期也學(xué)不了多少新詞。而現(xiàn)在，英語(yǔ)筆記本是消耗最大的一本本子，甚至一天學(xué)的生詞，與一學(xué)期的相差無(wú)幾。繁重的英語(yǔ)單詞“壓”得我喘不過(guò)起來(lái)，就連寫(xiě)其他作業(yè)時(shí)，我嘴里也不時(shí)輕聲念叨著。
最怕的，還是英語(yǔ)考試了。我像極了寓言中寫(xiě)到的那個(gè)撿一個(gè)玉米棒掉一個(gè)的大灰熊：面對(duì)厚厚一本英語(yǔ)本，看著那些以前學(xué)過(guò)，可現(xiàn)在早已忘記的單詞，我的大腦一片空白——當(dāng)然，考試成績(jī)也不盡如人意。學(xué)英語(yǔ)，真是一件“苦差事”��！

當(dāng)然，學(xué)英語(yǔ)也并非完全在苦海里“掙扎”。南外的英語(yǔ)課，充滿了趣味：每節(jié)課都會(huì)播放一首英文歌，課前也有同學(xué)上講臺(tái)演講。而且老師們一直在教我們地道的句型和實(shí)用的表達(dá)方法。我永遠(yuǎn)也不會(huì)忘記，當(dāng)逛商場(chǎng)時(shí)發(fā)現(xiàn)藥店門(mén)口寫(xiě)著pharmacy時(shí)的`激動(dòng)；坐地鐵時(shí)看到Olympicstadium的激動(dòng)……我感到所有事物正以一種從未有過(guò)的方式重組，正如用截然不同的方法詮釋整個(gè)世界。大概這就是學(xué)英語(yǔ)的魅力所在了吧！
學(xué)英語(yǔ)，有苦也有樂(lè)，因?yàn)槭聦?shí)上學(xué)習(xí)就是一個(gè)苦樂(lè)交織的過(guò)程。那么就讓這句話來(lái)激勵(lì)我自己吧：“路漫漫其修遠(yuǎn)兮，吾將上下而求索�！�

My uncle travels a lot around the world. He has been to many countries. Every time when he returns, I will listen to his stories. I have heard of many wonderful journeys. My uncle likes to communicate with people from other countries, so he can learn the different culture. I want to live as my uncle, but the first thing for me to do is to master English, so that I can communicate with most people and have fun.
